Is "ringing up" after 6pm the same as just putting the full amount down at the time I pre-ordered it? I actually pre-ordered from GameStop at about 3:30 today and put the full price down. Should that mean I can go to line #1?

I'm considering picking up a new Vizio 32" or 37" LCD TV. I have a 360 and almost exclusively play rhythm games (i.e. rock band), so the main thing I am concerned about is lag. Can anyone with one of these TVs have any opinions about playing this type of game on it? Any issues?

There probably will be some fees that he has to pay when he accepts the package, but there shouldn't be any extra fees on your end.

You can get a tracking number as soon as Amazon sends the billing info to UPS- it doesn't necessarily mean that they have touched the package yet.

They have to localize it and they are putting in region-specific tracks PLUS they have to be able to produce enough hardware to stock the bundles with, etc. etc. It's not as simple as you think.

How soon before shipping a pre-ordered game do they usually put the full charge on your credit card? I ask because I pre-ordered Rock Band, which in theory should be shipping Monday the 19th, but they charged my card today and my order status says "processing..."

What are you worried about? All previews (and my personal demo experience) have pointed to it being awesome.. OXM gave it a 9.5/10 in their Dec. issue by the way. I believe GH3 got an 8.0.

Two people have independently reported on the Rockband.com forums that they got the 360 bundle at a Walmart in Airmont, NY. Since Walmart only got PS3 demos, these must be the real thing- plus one guy posted pictures of the bass pedal.

Yeah I think I had it sort of wrong. Basically it sounds like each part has it's own multiplier and then if all instruments deploy overdrive at the same time you get even more of a multiplier than the normal double whatever your streak multiplier is. So if the guitarist has a 4x multiplier and...

If you mean just buying the game without the bundle and playing on guitar then you're probably missing out. Although next year you can pick up some drums, etc. If you mean playing with a GH3 controller compared to the Strat, it's not going to make a big difference.
