Servers are crapping out. Think about it... thousands of requests for a 400+ MB files. Even with a firm like akamai caching the material, that's a hell of a lot of data. Frankly, I'm not surprised. Even the smaller BF2 trailer (57 MB) took over 10 min. to download.

I second COD2. I have to disagree with the comments regarding replay value. After beating it on regular, give it a shot with veteran. You won't be disappointed.
