HEROES - super thread...

It's easy to see how the older brother is starting to become a bad guy if not a villian. As well, it was kinda expected for Micah to be a hero as both his parents have powers. And did anyone else catch the Tattoo on the cop and the nuclear guy?
they should change it to shag the cheerleader, save the world

not a bad show last night...i actually like the 2 brothers storyline.
I would fuck the shit out of her. She's damn fine and a year younger then me :)

excellent show last night!
the "radioactive" guy is an interesting new character. could he be the cause of the explosion that goes off in NYin the future?
the show kinda reminds me of Lost b/c i'm constantly trying to figure out how the characters will eventually interact with each other. awesome!

The best Monday night lineup is Prison Break then 24. My favorite tv lineup was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 24 and The Shield on Tuesdays back in the days

Very interesting show tonight, introduce a super-memory person and kill her in 20 minutes... I saw that coming though when I saw Sylar

Or is she.....;)

I like the twist when we see that the cheerleaders dad isn't a bad guy but something like a professor x.

Hopefully they spend some bad money on the next couple seasons and we see some kick super hero powers.

Man I forgot Hiro kind of warped back right after that
You know what helped make this episode good, lots of Hiro and no Nikki/Jessica nonsense.
I think I agree. Hiro's angle tends to move the story along well since he's traveling, while Nikki/Jessica tends to be drama for the sake of itself.

EX-fuckING-ZACTLY!

A funny thing about last nights episode was that the preview from Comcast mentioned something about Nikki, yet no part of her storyline was on there, as far as I remember.

Great episode last night, especially with Syler and Hiro being in the same place at the same time.

Next weeks episode better kick so much as. I bet they hype it up, especially since its the end, or almost the end, of November sweeps.

great episode last night...the only character storyline that I really could care less about is the teacher/doctor from india. If he doesn't have any powers, then what is the point of him, espically if the cheerleaders dad is nursing along the powers of the superhumans.

For some reason in an earilier episode, it did seem like he had powers, I don't remember though

There's been speculation that he can see the past in dreams; which is indicitive in the last episode.

I'm slightly curious as to who the kid is.

And, just to let people know, the dude who was Boromir in Lord of the Rings is supposed to be Sylar.
My English teacher says I look like the Japanese guy in Heroes.
how does he know what you look like when masturbating?
how does he know what you look like when masturbating?
What are you talking about kid?

Okay, here's a question that's been plaguing me since watching the last episode (11/13)

why would Sylar want ms. memories? It has been postulated, if not in this thread then in many others that sylar "eats" the brains of heroes in order to gain their powers. It seems pretty obvious why he would want Claire's powers, and, to a point, Issac's. Why Ms. Memory? how would being able to remember anything you read help him?
I was under the assumption the kid was his sister that died
i don't think this is true either since a) that kid is way older than 5 b) i think that kid is a boy...
how would being able to remember anything you read help him?
Maybe he just wants to kill all the specials; him getting the powers would be a bonus.

So when he reads 'How to build a nuclear bomb' he remembers, duh
Some cool Heros related news:
Hiro may appear on an episode of Scrubs with his powers Source
and Christopher Eccelston (Doctor Who, 28 Days Later) will join the cast in January. Source
The Scrubs crossover would be interesting. Especially with him already having been other characters in it. I'll definitly have to torrent that.

I remember the first time watching Heroes recognizing that the guy playing Hiro was in some episodes of Scrubs. Definitely interesting idea, and I'm sure in the zany world of Scrubs anything can work.

I'm guessing Peter get disemboweled then heals up and Claire is all WTF in that scene.

So I was looking through my cable box's listings, and saw that the episode in 2 weeks, is the flash back to 6 months ago, when Mohinder's father came to NY.

Also, it appears that on the 29th, SciFi is going to be having a marathon of the season so far. Might have to DVR that so I have all the episodes.

cool, i missed the first few episodes, so thatll be good.

I'm probably in a small minority on this but, to me, Heroes has been bland with the exception of usually the last 10 minutes of each episode. It's not bad, it's just not exceptional. I just don't find most of the character development very compelling. This week there hasn't been a single scene with the cop. It almost seems like there are too many characters to fully flesh them out in only an hour each week. I'm debating whether to keep watching, especially with 24 returning in January in the same timeslot. Are there any fansites that give a good summary of the series? Maybe that will help.

I think NBC puts the eps on after they air. BTW, I still REALLY like this show. It's refreshing from all the other crap on tv. Claire, again looked gorgeous and do I ever want to fuck the daylights out of her :p

so the girl was a super all along. She too can get into peoples' minds. Anyone willing to be 'Jessica' shoots her son instead of her husband? Looks like for now, Sylar is only the third (?) most powerful that we know of? I cant wait for next week to see how everyone got their powers and stuff. Sylar is a nurrrrrrrrrrrrrd :p

I think its kind of nice to have more characters than they can handle in an hour slot. This helps to keep certain characters (Nikki/Jessica) from being overused every episode. And it sort of keeps it fresh.

Also, I don't think they are done with introducing characters, I thought I read somewhere that they are going to bring in someone else in January.

With all that said, awesome episode.
Though you knew Peter wouldn't die, since him, Claire, and Hiro seem to be the main protaganest. It wasn't surprising when Claire came out to Peter and he was revived. I was kind of disappointed that the scar didn't show up in this episode, unless it was caused by the fall and will show up in 2 weeks (next week is a 6 month ago view).

Sylar seemed a little too easy to be taken down, especially by Eden and the mind wipe guy (does he have a name yet?).

Also, does anyone think that they tried to wipe the cop and Nathan for a reason other than being bad? As its seems pretty obvious which way Nathan is headed after covering the painting. And I think the affair thats going on with the cop's wife may throw him for a loop.

What is Eden's power?
Eden taps in peoples' minds? She can control others?
Thats what I was thinking, but Sylar seemed to not be as controllable as others.
Thats what I was thinking, but Sylar seemed to not be as controllable as others.
Looks like Sylar just takes other peoples powers, so unless he ate someones brains who can not be controlled by Eden then he should be susceptible like anyone else.
Looks like Sylar just takes other peoples powers, so unless he ate someones brains who can not be controlled by Eden then he should be susceptible like anyone else.
Thats makes since. Lets just hope he never eats Peter's, Hiro's, or Claires.

Hell, for all I care, he can eat Jessica/Nikki and the show would actually be better in my mind.
Thats what I was thinking, but Sylar seemed to not be as controllable as others.
Maybe that's due to Sylar's psychic power?
Looks like Sylar just takes other peoples powers, so unless he ate someones brains who can not be controlled by Eden then he should be susceptible like anyone else.
I don't think so. Sylar is obviously after others with powers, but I don't think we can judge why at this point.
He doesn't get any obvious benefit from it, and the only power we've seen him use is his psychic ability.
The thing that I'm wondering about is why and how he seeks out and takes the brain of others with powers.

I think Eden is just really persuasive. I don't necessarily think she taps into minds.

The wipe guy is the Haitian, right? Great episode, it should have been longer.

I believe so on the mind zap guy.

My DVR actually stopped recording this episode early, or the episode ran late. So now its records Studio 60 solely for the first minute of the hour.

I just hope when this goes on holiday break, thats its a month tops.
The thing that I'm wondering about is why and how he seeks out and takes the brain of others with powers.
Lean cuisine.

He got the list from Mohinder's dad. He obviously doesn't know from intuition because he thought the one cheerleader was the one with powers, not Claire

Ummmm..... weren't we supposed to find out why Claire is so damn important, besides the fact that I wanna see her do double anal?
