This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Well, I picked up the Wheel (DPCI: 207-00-0874) for $70 b/c it was the only one left in town. I'll keep an eye on the price and when it hits $50 I'll do a return/rebuy.

No, but I think it may depend on the store. I've hidden a copy of two before for WEEKS and there were none on the shelf for weeks and the price still went down. I think other stores actually perform an inventory when they do the clearance and if the item isn't there, no mark down.

There is only one 120 GB HDD (DPCI: 207-00-0686) left in town and it is still marked at $179! I'll snag it if it goes to $125. The Target it is at is generally a week behind on price drops than listed here so maybe it will go directly to $90. I'm sure it will be gone even at the $125 mark.

I am sitting on about 10 of them at $50 at my Target. I am holding out for $25. I thought $50 would tempt me, but they are taking up so much space and not moving, so I'm hoping they will be more aggressive.

I picked up Bad Company at $35 - I was in the market for a AAA title, and that was a good enough price for me. It was the last one at my Target.

Checked the 120GB HD for 360 on Monday morning at a couple of stores (entered in the DCPI numbers) and they were $125.

Then that night I checked another store at the HDs were $89.xx. Also saw a drop of the Steering Wheels with the game inside down to $49.xx

Snagged an HD, not sure if they will make it below $89.xx price.

Went back to my original TGT store this morning and the HD price was now $89.XX as well.

So it's all a matter of timing I guess.

10 wheels...wow. The most I saw was THREE at a store. I'm hoping to get one for $50. Not sure if I really "need" it, but it seems like a nice piece of hardware. I may check again today. Yeah for having the day off.

Yes, that is the one...the HDD's were NOT locked up, just on a clearance rack. I already have an ELITE, so I have no need for another 120GB. Just passing along the information.

I also returned my wheel I got for $50....no need for it. For $25, I would buy it in a heartbeat though

No. I think you have to call 1-800-4my-xbox and request one. You have to provide the S/N of your console, and they will ship for free. I'm not sure though...I bought an Elite and had to do that to transfer from my OG 360.

I thought if you bought the 120gb drive seperately it comes with the transfer kit, can anyone confirm?

I believe Cheapy said on this weeks CAGcast his 120gb drive came with the CD and cable.

The Elite does NOT come with the cable, thus the need for the cable request forms

I believe there were reports of the retail 120GBs lacking the cd/cable before.

Some of the 120GB HDs do not come with transfer kits. Some do, some do not. This is where the problem lies though. The ability to request the transfer from MS requires that you have a serial number for an old XBox 360 and a new Elite. There is no "proper" way to request the transfer kit if you buy a 120GB kit that does not include the transfer cable, though I'm positive if you call, you can probably get them to send you one. However, I have heard some people get turned down.

For the transfer kit: Just look at the "window" of the box. If there's a hard drive, and some other thing to the right of it, the thing on the right is the transfer kit. No thing on the right? No transfer kit.

The Strongsville, OH Target has some games on the clearance aisle, but they're not on true clearance prices yet. I did spot Golden Axe (PS3) $29.98, Gears of War ($27.98), Ninja Gaiden II and Pure ($41.98), and 120gb 360 HD $125. Definitely needs a better price drop for me to get them. Sorry I didn't get more prices, I was with my 3-year-old who wasn't sitting still. Supposedly a Lego Indy (360) was supposed to be there, but I didn't see it on the shelf.
