Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

I don't get this... I swear, every few weeks tags are put out on the shelves for tons of games advertising the clearance prices but I never come across most of these games, even at 30% off. They always put up tags with the lowest clearance price, but I never see the vast majority of these games at the highest clearance price, and I go in at least once a week between Monday and Wednesday to check prices. I don't get it.

Well if your looking for tags, that's your first mistake. You have to check all around the electronics dept on the endcaps. I've only seen a clearance lowest price tag on one game EVER.
 
no drop on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, try again next week.

two of the ladies at the stores I checked said, 'it's the last one,' and 'there's nothing saying it'll drop again.'

as if they're trying to sell it to me at $41.98, I said 'no, thanks,' and walked off.
 
I had been watching for MUA2 to drop, until I realized that I already got it for my birthday and it has been in my PS3/360/Wii game cabinet since November.

D'oh #-o.

At least I didn't buy it again.
 
I am really hoping to find a copy of Singstar Queen for $10... I've never played a Singstar game, but Queen is my favorite group of all time and I'd love to pick up a copy despite the fact that I'd probably never play it.

I've double bought more than once. Never felt more stupid than when I realized I had two copies of Brothers In Arms...one copy is one too many.

I went ahead an picked one up for $19.98 yesterday, but I am still hoping for it to get down further and still be available ... saving my receipt, just in case. I figured I would rather have one for $20 than not have one at all.
 
Forgot to mention (and I don't think anyone else mentioned it) .. I noticed :360: LIPS #1 Hits bundle (game + mic) was on clearance for $29.98. I was going to get it for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day but I left it sit for a day and someone bought it. I was shocked, seeing how I've never seen anyone buy these things before. lol

I picked up the original last year just to get the 2 wireless mics for $12.xx. I can't imagine anyone actually paying the full $50 for one wireless mic. The mics work well with RB2, Lego RB, and Beatles RB.
 
Grabbed SF4 (PC) for $9.xx. Nothing else of interest in Stafford, VA. Ghostbusters (PS2) still $9.xx. No 360 controllers left.
 
Went to four stores yesterday and today, and literally everything is the same exact price it was when I checked last. Was hoping for a 7.xx Force Unleashed or 20.xx Resident Evil 5, but they are still 13.xx and 27.xx respectively. Even the out-of-the-way store I hadn't been to in 2-3 weeks was holding strong; it doesn't look like they moved any Tony Hawk Ride, Beatles Rock Band or Band Hero bundles at 30% since I was last there, but they still haven't dropped them yet.

Folks really saw Left 4 Dead and Halo 3 on clearance? They're in stock and full price everywhere I've looked. Has Left 4 Dead GOTY really dropped, or does it has the same SKU as the original version and some places haven't updated the price since it restocked?

That's good to know. One of my local stores has a couple at $29.98; if they make it to $14.98 I'm getting one for the local homeless kids charity (they got a :360: donated at Christmas, and I brought in a :360: Rock Band Complete that I'd scored for $18 at KMart to donate).

Saw 9.98 Force Unleashed today, but still holding out for the 7.48 or lower price point. Also searching all over for a MK Kollection less than 13.98 but having zero luck.

One of my local Targets actually got a couple 250gb PS3s which made me needlessly hopeful, but they of course were not clearanced.

All through december there was only one copy of Secret Agent Clank still listed at the full price of $19.99. Last Friday when we went to target there were all of a sudden 10 of them, all still at the full price of $19.99. WTH! I'll gladly buy them when they're at the $4.99 price I've seen posted here earlier.
 
I picked up a copy of L4D Goty for $7.48 and saw Halo 3 for $14.98. The L4D was in the aisle with the platinum hits and stuff. It had no clearance stickers on it but the shelf label clearly said $7.48

All I wanted was a copy of the new Jak for PS2. :cry:

The BluRay player I was eyeing is now gone. I don't understand why someone would spend $125 on it, but it is their money
 
Nice, picked up Wolfenstein and Section 8, both salvage, but the clerk accepted my 6.24$ quoted price. These items are especially sweet as my nemesis had them in his hand the day before, but was denied the salvage price. The lazy clerks must have put them out again. I then traded these plus 5 Target clearance Wii Sing It's picked up at 7.48 to GS (8$ base TIV) and qualified for the +50 promotion, an easy 60+ profit. Of course instantly spent it all on Bioshock and Dante's inferno LOL

Of the 6 targets I've been to lately, all of them were completely cleared out of clearance poster frames. I only found clearance small picture frames and most of them were only 50% off. I'm afraid you might have missed your chance unless u find a target that is very slow with marking down items in that picture frame department.

Yup, 24x36, 18x24 and 16x20 were the only ones I could find. Most of the ones I got were scratched and/or dented as well. I haven't checked the one of 441 and okeechobee and I don't think I checked poster isle when I was at the one of 441 and lantana. Otherwise, I pretty much checked all the ones in Boca, Delray, Boynton, and Lake Worth. Let me know if you get lucky and find any.
 
Just went to the other Target down Biscayne and scored Midnight Club 360 for $14.xx. That was the sweet spot. Finally, I haven't bought anything at Target for almost a year.

They had Arkham for PC at $29.xx, but the rest remained the same. Resistance 2 was unmoved at $41.xx, as was SW:TFU at $13.xx. Everything else was shovelware.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention Halo Wars has a sale price tag of $19.99. I hadn't seen it mentioned before and I've only seen it at this Target.

Best Buy also has it for $19.99 so maybe a universal drop?
 
Went ahead and picked up a CoDMW2HE for $39.98. Wanted to hold out until 75% off, but doubted it'd last that long...especially since 3 copies had been bought at the $40 price over the past couple days. It's also my present to myself for having to sit through jury duty all week.
 
Another item of interest: 250GB PS3s have started popping back up at my local Targets, but at $350 and not $244. :(

Oh, yeah. I saw that at only one target I went to yesterday, but forgot to mention it.
 
My Target finally had a re-stock. From the last time I was there 2 weeks ago. Bought a few games.

Shawn White Road Trip Target Limted Edition for the Wii $9.98
Mortal Kombat Kollection for the PS2 $9.98
Hotel Dusk DS $9.98
Advance Wars Days of Ruin $7.48

Also saw and passed on Queen Singstar $19.98 and Hardened Edition of Call of Duty MW2 for 39.98 since I have the regular edition.They had the Prestige in the glass under the clearance shelf but couldn't see the price. Most other games were crappy Wii games, Rock Band and and Guitar Hero games for Wii and PS3, copies of Spectrobes for the DS, and Transformers for the 360. I didn't bother checking prices since only Queen Singstar semi interested me
 
Got (207-22-0415) GTA: Episodes from Liberty City for $27.93 @ Fenton, MO Target when I picked up my preorder copy of Bioshock 2.

I wanted to wait for another drop but it was the only copy and I'm sure it would have been gone by next week.
