Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell
No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

ElHoardo1.jpg

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Picked up Naruto: CLash of Ninja Revolution 3 (wii) $10 and Sonic: Black Knight (wii) $7.50 at Blue Spring, MO. Still have 3-4 copies each. Lips: #1 Hit Bundle (360) $15, Transformer (360) $10, Naruto: PON (DS) $7.50. Also, Picked MLB 2k9 (PS3) $5 & Rock Band Beatles LE Bundle (360) $63 at Independence, MO. Still have 1 copies each. GI Joe (Wii) $7.50 and everything else is still not Drop :)

The online clearance inventory tracker shows none of the Beatles RB LE sets for 360 or PS3 in my area, but I saw a 360 set @ the one near me a couple of days ago. I gotta head out today anyways, so I might see if they still have it by chance. I still would probably come out cheaper buying PS3 Beatles RB for $15 @ Old Navy since I already have a RB drum set I bought for $10 @ Walmart. Having the mic would be cool, but is not necessary imo.

My USB headset mic works for RockBand and eliminates the need to hold it or use a mic stand.

You probably bought the RB1 drum set. RB1 drum sets break... a lot. It's worth it to upgrade to the RB2 set, with all the Limited Edition Beatles goodies.

I got Beatles Rock Band for 63 bucks. Love it! I have been stalking my Target for months, waiting for it to drop below $100.

One left in Lufkin,TX.

HEY PLEASE DONT DELETE THIS POST MOD'S .

http://www.co-optimus.com/ is good for this. Target Clearance thread not.

Regardless my Target (280 for the locals) continues to be plagued with nothing but crap. 48.98 Fight Night 4, 24.98 Lego RB and Midnight Club. Odd this Target used to be so good.

I checked my Target in San Jose, CA (Capitol and Silver Creek) and didn't see any MW2:H (360), RB:B (360), or Band Hero (360).

They have one Rock Band Beatles for PS3 if anyone wants to grab it

I'd say 99.9% of the time post starts off with "HEY PLEASE DONT DELETE THIS POST MOD'S" it should be deleted immediately & without prejudice.

Updates:

:360: Chaotic down to 7.xx
:360: RB Beatles LE has hit $62.xx everywhere in this area.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but there's a DLink wireless N router that has hit clearance.

Pretty much struck out today except a random copy of Il 2 Sturmovik PS3 that turned up 7.48.

Target on South Dale Mabry, Tampa:

Avatar The Game dropped to $30 for PS3, 360 and Wii (still in the glass case for all 3). Half off for the 360 and PS3 version, $20 off for Wii. I just paid full price for the game (though in credit) a few days ago

The lone copy of Prototype on 360 is staying at $27, though I didn't bother to have it scanned to double check. Two copies of Lego Rock Band on 360 still at $25. Nothing but Singstar Queen for PS3 for a price I didn't check.

Hate to sound like an idiot since I watch this thread fairly regularly. That said, what is this tracker you speak of?

As an aside, went to the Springfield, VA store during lunch looking for Beatles RB and MW2 but didn't find squat. :bomb:

FINALLY! Got a copy of RE5 for 9.98 :D. Also saw Bakugan for 12.48 (Gonna go back and grab tommorow since i saw a few), Guitar Hero Smash Hits dropped to 9.98 (But i decided to pass), but Fight Night 4 mysteriously held its 19.98 price.

Also, saw a bunch of Spectrobes 2 for DS for 4.98, and Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 for 9.98 (Would have brought if i hadnt have gave my Wii to my parents)

Checked out 4 Targets in OC, nothing at all.
Not surprising since I knew most of them were long gone before (beatles, MW2 HE, Re5)

Prototype was still $27...About the only cheap game any of them had was fallout 3 regular edition for $9...which is the way its been forever lol.

Forgot to mention that I saw my first :360: wired controllers at 19.98. There was a bunch of em, so here's hoping they find their way to a delicious 9.98. Also found that the local Super Targets all dropped MW2:HE to 19.98 despite not having any in stock, so I'm secretly hoping they're just hiding somewhere.

Mayfield Hts., OH: I tried getting a Beatles RB:LE for the 360 for $62.48, except El Hoardo was there at the same time, and he had his cart blocking my way. Then he got the lone copy for the 360, to go with the one he had for the PS3. I told him my story, that I was trying to get it but his cart blocked the way. He told me he was getting the 360 for himself and the PS3 for his friend blah blah blah bullcrap. I told him to choke on whatever eBay profits he makes.

Bonus points to the electronics associate who told me there were 3 copies at University Hts. Lo and behold, they still had 3 at $62.48 per, plus a PS3 copy. Mayfield had a Band Hero for the 360 at $50 as well. I am a very happy camper.

well i picked up beatles rb set for $63 not sure if i wanna keep it. i think im over these music games and doubt ill play it. i threw it on craigslist. it either sells or i keep it. i preordered bfbc2 ff13 and gow3 this month. i dont even have time to play those.

If you're talking about Greenbriar, I only saw 1 copy of Bakugan about an hour ago. They had tons of :360:RE5 for $9.98 but no Band Hero :whistle2:(, oh well, Beatles Rock Band will do.

Also kind of bummed that the wired :360: controllers didn't drop this week.

Saw a Beatles Rock Band (360) set for $62 while out on my lunch break. They only had one and I almost picked it up. If I go back later and its still there I'll probably pick it up. I'd probably rather have the Band Hero set but didn't see one. Anyone have the DPCI for the 360 band Hero bundle?

Lol, so your the one that pulled out my Bakugan XD. I just went back and got it, left it neatly tucked behind the RE5s.
...Having the mic would be cool, but is not necessary imo.

My USB headset mic works for RockBand and eliminates the need to hold it or use a mic stand.
The headset does NOT work for vocals in Rock Band Beatles, due to that game having support for multiple microphones for harmonies. Up to three microphones all are assigned to one controller, so the headsets are disabled for vocals. The headset DOES work for vocals in Rock Band 1, 2, and I believe Lego and all trackpacks, but not Beatles. You'll need either a wired USB mic or a wireless "Lips" microphone in order to sing vocals with that game. Just FYI.

Of course, I rifle through everything clearance... at least twice :D

question, i know generally you arent suppose to trust online inventory...but my target is say they have one lego batman left...called and it's 5 bucks!!! however the employee said they didn't have it...this is the second time I have been told this and it wasn't true.

It seems the online inventory is updated often because I recently bought the last copy of another lego batman at a different store that at the time said it was in stock....and after i purchased it said it was out of stock....

anyone have any other experiences like this.

You should check. When i called earlier and asked what price RE5 was, the employee acted like i had just asked him to get naked and run around the store >_>.
Riverdale, NY has two 360 Rock Band Beatles bundles left.

Grab 'em shits while you still can.
Good luck to anyone searching for one, EVERY single store in VA. Beach that had them on Friday are all sold out now.

earlier today i found marvel ultimate alliance 2 for $14.98 on xbox, band hero complete band on xbox for 49.98, and dj hero for ps2 12.xx at 85% off.
All at my local target Anderson, IN

One band hero set left if anyone close by reads this!

I called one Target to see if they had any 360 wired controllers left (gonna use it for PC gaming & for XNA). They guy in electronics said they had 2 left. I asked what the price was & he told me $27.xx. I'm 99% sure he didn't scan it, but rather just looked @ the clearance sticker price. Can anyone confirm if these dropped in price in their stores today? If they don't drop this week, I'll probably order one off of amazon since I'm trading in a crapload of dvd's this week so I wouldn't have to spend any money out of pocket.

Was this just the game or the whole "kit & kaboodle"? If it was everything then... :hot:!!!

For anyone holding out for a Band Hero bundle instead of an RB Beatles bundle, don't, unless you really like the GH instruments more. I only forced myself to play through Band Hero to get the 1000 achievement points, and it was NOT fun. But anyways, to get on topic, my Target finally dropped the RB Beatles bundle down to $62.48, although they did not have new red clearance stickers on them. I also picked up Marvel Super Hero Squad for PSP for $7.48, down from $14.98 from last week (also without a new sticker). So if there's something you want, still try to scan it today, even though they may not have new stickers.

Question for those finding Band Hero for $50 or less--do they have clearance stickers?

I ask because all of the Band Hero kits around here have a "$20 off! Now just $159!" shelf tag on them. None rang up for cheaper as recently as last week. Wondering if I should recheck them, or if my area simply decided not to clearance them. :wall:
Picked up :ps3:Band Hero Band Kit for 25.04 @ Marlton NJ
WTF I though after it because 75% off they no longer kept the item they gave it to like a thrift store or something ?

they have red stickers if on clearance, if there's a sign then its just a markdown and not a clearance.
