Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!​

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. ​

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks! ​

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.​

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:​
Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.​

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:​

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts. ​

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.​

Numbers in purple are DPCI #'s, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.​

Numbers in orange are online item #'s.​

No copies of Dark Souls in at least 2 local Targets in my area. I'm quite jealous of the individuals able to take advantage of that deal lol.
 
Went to another target looking for (more) move bundles. They had none but did have sorcery for $6 so I bought that to go with my new move setup. Any other move games worth buying?

Seeing the same as everyone else. Rayman Tiger etc. Broke down and got the Thor Ironman bundle for 8.98.
Also got a LG-Smart DVD/Blueray 1080 p player for 59. Regular sale I think.
 
Saw some 3DS stuff on clearance including some crosswords game. Also saw Hotel Transylvania and Cooking Mama combo pack for the DS.

Only thing I picked up was Art Academy for the 3DS, price was $8.98 for each of them.

Good deal for bundles, every time I see the LBP 2 move bundle show up for 39.99 it's always sold out before I see the newsletter...

Nice to see you're in Buffalo too, I saw MJ was $10 still at the Galleria store, and when I saw Transformers they still wanted $20, I saw it today for $11 and passed (picked up MW3 for a christmas gift instead at the $25 BF price). and I swear Tiger Woods has been $10 not $12, and i found the last DS3/BO bundle at the Blvd Target in Amherst.

I got the TW13 CE for $12 (sticker said $20) and assumed it was last year's game. I went back in my achievement list to see what ones I didn't get when I had it from Gamefly and learned that I've never touched this version. :)

Not much today at my Target's clearance end cap. Was hoping for a Vita game or two just a few PS3 and 360 games. Hoping things will pick up in the next couple of weeks post Black Friday. The clearance is always nice post xmas and new years though so I do have that to look forward to

Stuff like this happens sometimes at Target. They'll have new releases randomly on clearance for 70% off. They'll skip the 30% and 50% off and just go straight to 70%. It's some kind of glitch. Same thing is true for the Assassin's Creed LE that's 70% off right now. I was able to get a Spider-Man Edge of Time for $15 a few weeks after release like this.
 
I swear that there's just these targets that immediately clearance vita and 3ds stuff. It's weird.

Looking forward to picking up DR2:OTR and hopefully a cheap :360: sfxt.

How is it possible he got it clearanced today though? Prices change on Monday.

While the most common day for sure it really varies by store and workload. I have two that usually do electronics clearance updates Friday morning and two that do clearance on Sundays. No idea when the mothership sends down prices, I always assumed it was Sunday morning.

Well I checked my store, and same as the AC3 LE, it's retail price.

Reminds me to see if those Vita accessories are still rotting on the clearance vine.
 
I found Bioshock 2 for Ps3 in San Diego, Ca for $5.06, Seems like a good find for that game. I always wanted to try out that 'Minervas den' DLC so it was probably worth it.

Either untrue or just one store only. I called around to various stores just asking if a ate was in stock and it's price, didn't even talk to electronics employees. Every store said yes it's in stock and it's $40.

Grabbed a $9.98 copy of Rayman Origins for the 360. It'll make a nice Christmas gift for my sister :) otherwise, there was a ton of wii band hero or guitar hero or whatever. Some music game. That I don't care about. :p

Just came back from Target here in Central Cali. and man, they had a lot today. Mostly "Medal of Honor" (PS3) for $9.98, DJ Hero 2 for XB360, FIFA 2012 for Wii and PSP for $5.98, Major League Baseball for PSP, three PS3 move games which I didn't check the price for (one Michael Jackson game, one sports game and another family game). Metal Gear Solid HD collection for XB360 for $11.98, Black Eyed Peas for Kinect for $10.48.

I also saw SFxTekken 360 for $24.98, Kung Zhu DS package for $9.98, Glee Karaoke for $19.98, A PS3 Move exercise game for $19.98 with a heartbeat monitor, several other Wii games I didn't care for.

Also, picked up a copy of Big Fish Games Dark Tales Edgar Allan Poe's The Black Cat for $4.06.

Also, saw the Uncharted 3 Collector's sets still for $49.01. Don't think that will go down, nor have the NHL 2012's gone down. Still $19.98.
