Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!​

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. ​

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks! ​

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.​

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:​
Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.​

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:​

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts. ​

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.​

Numbers in purple are DPCI #'s, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.​

Numbers in orange are online item #'s.​

Saw DR2: OTR, CoJ: Cartel, Wappy Dog, Layton, the Spongebob Kinect game, DJ Hero 2 disc only 360, DJ Hero 2 Wii bundle, Sims 3 DS, and maybe other things sitting at 50% off. I didn't walk out with anything but I was absolutely stoked to actually see things marked down for once. Might bite on Off the Record and maybe even the Juarez game if they drop even lower.
 
My store got in about eight TomTom 1400m (lifetime maps version) GPS units that were marked online return for $34.xx, they were all still sealed and brand new. There should be a couple left at the Fulton and Alta Arden store.
 
Updated the OP a little with BLOPS Warfare Pack :ps3:, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 Collectors :ps3:/:360:, Mini Pro Elite Wireless Remote :ps3: and a few other updates dated 11/14/2012 I saw (Sims :ds: has dropped, NHL 12 :ps3:/:360: has dropped, etc.).
 
NHL 2012 is still the same price at $19.99...I'm surprised no drop yet. The only game I saw was Battleship 3DS for $5.98. I passed on it.

One Target near me finally dropped NHL 12 to $11.98 so I grabbed it.

Also saw a ton of DS/3DS games that I haven't seen mentioned and now I'm sorry my brain is a bit fuzzy with details... there were more, and some shovelware/compilation packs (there was a Cooking Mama/something else for $14.99?)

Funny on NHL 12. It was down to $11 something around 6 weeks ago at one of my stores. Maybe it will drop for the rest of soon.
 
Even despite the lockout and the fact that its last years NHL, its still a good price. The NHL games hold value longer than madden. Id consider just paying for nhl 13. Some amazing changes

About the same by me too. :( But anyway, great deal for people getting the Call of Duty bundle, I was just in the store on Monday and it was marked at $55.98 still. (I already have 2 controllers though, black... I want one of the cooler ones... and already have BO from Best Buy's 19.99 sale and RZ certs).

Both the :ps3: and :360: version(s) of NHL 12 were $11.98 at the Target I hit this PM.

It's odd because this Target (with the $11.98 NHL 12 :ps3:/:360:) had the :ps3: BLOPS LTO/DualShock 3 Pack marked at $59.98 (whereas last PM, at another Target, I scored it for $39.98 but the NHL 12 game was still $19.98). I reckon YMMV held true on this case?
 
Saw plenty of clearance stuff at my local Target, only two things I saw that weren't already mentioned were:

Not really great prices, but at least they are in the clearance cycle.
 
Just found and Picked up a lone Black Ops Warfare Battle Pack that was sitting in clearance.
Been needing a new controller and have been lagging on any CODs since Modern Warfare 2. Maybe this will convince me to get back into COD and grab BLOPS 2...
 
Picked up one of those Black Ops/Controller bundles tonight, and I don't even own a PS3.
I figure a friend can use it, or I can give it as a gift.
 
The local store finally cleared out some of their Wii music games:

Yeah, these were on the shelf for the regular price up until now.

I didn't get the item number, but Vita Carrying Case was also on clearance for $9.98 was $19.99. This is the faux-leather one that can double as a stand.

I ended up picking up one as well. It was $39.98. 50% OFF in SoCal.
 
Found a Call of Duty Black Ops DS3 bundle $40, going to trade in BLOPS to Best Buy so I get the controller at a nice price.

I also picked up a Playstation Eye $11.98 and two shooting attachments for $5.98 ea.

Questions: I don't have the Move but will probably get it as prices go down or ebay. I don't know anything about the Move. Should I keep this clearance Eye? Do all Move bundles come with it? Someone else's early post implied this was an old Eye. Are they the same and diff packaging or what?

I can also confirm many of the clearance prices on games finally hit my area.

I spotted a Thor/Iron Man 2 bundle (360) marked from $29.99 down to $8.98, only one left. I almost bit on the basis that they probably have easy achievements :p But with a 38 and 41 on Metacritic, respectively, I figured it was best that I pass.

I saw plenty of Medal of Honor copies for the PS3 and The Sims 3 at the Target in Daly City (Colma) Target. Also, the Serramonte Target had wireless Madcatz brand PS3 controllers for $9.98.
 
Just saw Metal Gear Solid HD for 360 at minneapolis target. They had a ton. Didn't get one but might head back after work. Worth it?
 
Went to Target a few days ago.

Had nothing worthwhile for Games, just some lame titles that really weren't clearance. Thought it was funny to see Big Time Rush Vol. 1 for 3.67. :lol:
 
Picked up a :ps3: Call of Duty Black Ops DS3 Bundle for $39.98. They weren't marked clearance hanging on a peg tagged $79.99 so I wonder if they would have made it to the 70% drop. But seeing as this isn't a store I normally visit, I grabbed one.

Yes, the Warfare Battle pack included a controller and a copy of Black Ops. (Black Ops I not II)
 
Managed to grab :ps3: Dark Souls for $9.98. There were a few copies left so I might try going back in a few days to see if they dropped it to $5.98.
