Has anyone actually played Crystal Defenders R2? The description makes it sound like it could be fun, but I haven't seen any reviews anywhere, so I'm hesitant to try it out.

I picked up Dragon Quest IV, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, and Children of Mana all for the DS. I also bought Bioshock, but that was just because I wanted it and not because of the sale.

Remember that overall the story line is supposed to be funny. There will be sincere moments, but when silly things happen (my favorite being ) laugh at them and keep playing. Disgaea is not a series that takes itself too seriously. And don't worry. You'll learn more about the Prinnies soon...

I've played and enjoyed them both. WotL does have noticeable slowdown. But it also has an epic story, especially compared to A2 which has almost no story at all. If story is what you're looking for, your decision is clear. If all you want is a portable tactics game, either would be just fine.

Wow. This thread is dustier than your NES. But like people told you in the other thread you made, replacing the 72-pin connector should fix your problems. Granted, it's not the cure-all for a broken Nintendo, but it should fix all of the symptoms you seem to be experiencing.
