The games I've gotten so far haven't been bad.. stay far, far away from Nickelodeon stuff obviously. Red Steel included. I've enjoyed it and I never play FPS games.

I would say that widescreen is more important than HD/ED. In a few years you will NOT be happy with square-o-vision, and you will wish you would have gone with a widescreen HDTV.
