You guys are killing me. I just started a residency this summer and don't have the time to commit to grinding. So I'm just lurking instead and living through all of you hahaha.

Haven't really been playing the last few months, but figured I'd try and complete the year one tasks before TTK drops. Just grabbed a couple golden chests I missed so now I just need to beat Skolas this weekend. Any of you badasses think you can help me out?

I saw you guys were trying for Skolas last night, but your group was full. How did it go? I did one nightfall, ran bounties and did 28. Got nothing but motes, strange coins and throw away legendaries.

I need to farm some treasure keys, I used my last on 28 and got 3 strange coins  :wall: I also got strange coins from my first nightfall. I did get the new titan arms on my other run though, I think they'd be fun for the first section of CE.

Played for the first time in a long time last night. Ran two nightfalls and got Hard Light and MK Standasides, aka two shards. New strike was really fun though. I want to play more, but I'm super busy and really overwhelmed by all the new content.

Check which telemetries Xur is selling. I always try to have some on hand for each weapon type. If you activate one right before turning in 10 completed bounties you'll fill a few nodes at once.

Have you unlocked any of the perks for your new exotics yet? Once you have String Of Curses on Bad Juju it's a room clearing machine, just hold down the trigger and as long as you get a kill per mag you'll never stop to reload. Plus you'll be filling up your super meter extra fast.

^^^^that math adds up for each item giving you 10% bonus; I don't think the Nightfall bonus applies to IB.

5 months later I can finally comfortably run relic in VOG.
