When they make a new console one I'll agree it's worth supporting. VC2 just didn't seem as good as 1 from what I played.

If Sega continues to publish stuff from Platinum Games, then I disagree. Although I do agree about VC being good.

Also fuck Sega.

Want Bulletstorm, must resist. . .Too poor. . .
I think I'll try to keep up my trend of not buying many games. Looking at releases between now and the summer...

Must buys are Portal 2 and LA Noire.

Maybes are Dragon Age (depending on demo) and Red Faction (loved the last one).

Also, by cutting back my spending last month (in everything in life) I saved 450.00.
I'm not so sure about Red Faction. They are drastically changing it from how Guerilla played, so that it looks more like dead space than the open world game that Guerilla was.

The reason why it's a portable game is because people didn't support it enough in the first place.

The story and characters in VC2 are not so great(Except Tank girl) but just about everything else is better in 2.
The fall is going to be a shit show...although I know somethings gonna get pushed back.

If not...Halo remake, Mass Effect 3, Elder Scrolls, Assassin's Creed 3, Uncharted 3 all around the same time? Good god.
Only one of those is interesting (Uncharted 3), I may get ME3 if Bioware ever puts out a GOTY edition of ME2 and the next AC if I can get through 2 and Brotherhood in time. I don't think AC3 will be out this year, as Ubisoft was talking about it being another spin-off.

It's such a relief to finally beat God of War. That game's been in my backlog for years. I must have started a game 3 or 4 times, but that last time was it. I wonder if it'll take me as long to beat God of War II.

I just can't get into 2 and I've tried. I loved VC1 though and bought it for full price at release.

I remember waiting for half an hour at best buy while an employee was looking for it. Good times.

I might get a little flack for this but I really didn't think God of War was that great of a game, I didn't play it till the HD remakes came out but I seriously wasn't that impressed, certainly not enough to play the second game right after I finished the first. Don't get me wrong, the game isn't bad and there isn't anything particularly wrong with it, but I just didn't find it to be as fun or exciting as everyone made it sound, one thing though was I really liked the Hydra boss and I thought there was going to be a bunch more huge large scale boss battles and I guess I felt kind of disappointed with the game in that regard since it had hardly any boss battles. I'm sure I'll get to the second game at some point but I'm in no hurry.

Worse how? I've played both to (almost) 1000/1000. I didn't notice any real differences. Game play is the same, I can't say I noticed anything off during my run through on PS3. Sure the models/lighting are a bit different, but that's personal preference stuff, IMO.

I suppose.
I didn't mind playing again without ME1 for the choices because the Comic let me pick everything that BioWare has decided will matter.

That's because you were already able to use it for the Xbox 360 version. I want to make use of the save file I have rather than flushing that down the toilet and getting the PS3 version.

I think it was great for the time it came out. I can see how it set the bar for action games. But there's no denying its age. After playing games like Bayonetta & Castlevania LoS it defiantly felt dated. I probably wouldn't have touched it if I played God of War III first. Still, I'm glad I beat it first.

Like you I'm waiting a while before I start up GoW II, but only because I have other games I want to play first. As soon as I reach a lull I'll start it up again.

I agree.

The combat in GoW was always boring to me. The best parts are the boss fights. Everything in between is boring and just sort of filler IMO.

Off topic but I just watched the reunion episode last night, that was awesome! Did you 5 know Big Fazeek would be there or was that a legit surprise? Also did your season have more downloads and that's why there was a reunion special for season 2 but not season 1?

Why not just get it now? The game is $20 MSRP, the 3 mission DLC's cost $25 and that's all you really need. If you want the one good weapon DLC that's $2 so you're looking at $45-$47.

God of War has always been more about the awesome set pieces and epic nature of the game. Never really was as big about the combat as a game like Bayonetta.

Glad you liked it :) We knew he would be back, in fact we (Gaymer and I) hung out with him the day before and that day as well. He's dumb and arrogant, but he is an actual gamer and he never actually did anything towards the two of us so were on cool ground. Our season did do better so Ford sponsored the reunion show, and maybe more to come.

There is a ton of animosity between Big Fazeek Mo though, and they didn't show nearly enough of the fight that was going on between those two.

The missions past the fourth on most characters on MvC3 are hard as hell. Attempting Dante's as I seem best with him when the stick stops working on my SFIV SE fight stick.. sigh going to take it apart and see if it's even worth fixing or just buying a TE.

I agree MvC3 is a blast to play though. Online has been fun until I hit a match with bad lag then its just a lag fest but still fun nonetheless. I believe I have everyone added in here. If you see me on and want to play toss me a message. Be back on in a bit after I try to fix my stick.

Practice, young skywalker.
I think I have 1-6 done for most people, Dante/Hulk are 8, Dormammu 7 and a few others are that high.
Break the combos down into parts. if you find you can do the first 3 hits but are having trouble after say, the launcher, just start at the launcher and practice the air part until you get the timing down. Then try to string them all together.

Spiderman's are full of satan though... especially number 4.

I am giving up on Epic Mickey. I just can't get past the terrible gameplay and poor game design. It's a shame too because the game shows a lot of potential.

Platforming in Epic Mickey was a nightmare. I also gave up after a few hours. The Mickey Junk Mountin level was cool. Seeing both the NES Mousecapades and the SNES Magical Quest carts was a nice touch.

Hopefully you will like it more than me. I can definitely see a lot of people really liking it, but for me there were just too many things that annoyed me gameplay-wise.

Yeah, that level was really cool. In fact, many of the levels were quite brilliant artistically. They are just designed really badly for actual platforming. The combat and painting mechanic are also implemented really poorly due to the controls and camera.

Man, beating people online in MvC3 is so satisfying.

I haven't gotten past mission 3 in any of the missions. I can't figure out what they mean by the cancel into a special move. I understand the aspect of cancelling L->M->H->special, but apparently I don't have the ability to do it correctly.

Super happy I decided to pre-order the regular edition of Tactics Ogre and not the EU limited-- the tarot cards are beautiful, and I saved money.

There's like 20 something of them too. I really like the artwork of Yoshida Akihiko :applause:. The game's cover art is great too:

I really like Haggar, been playing with him as my third and just got his ending.

I'm getting better too, I won most of my matches today and even played some Ranked. I did get one ragequitter and one guy who just spammed doom beams all night.

Can't wait to bring this home tomorrow and play with my bro.

It's because it's not the PC version.

First, I'm not in the mood to play ME2 so soon after finishing the first and am busy with the new releases that are coming out over the next few weeks, so I can easily wait to see what happens. Second, they're going to have more DLC coming, so there's no reason to pay ~$50 for a makeshift GOTY edition just yet and then have to shell out more later.

Damnit Panzer your gonna make me want to buy it again, and I'm fairly sure I could still get the cards if I ordered from Amazon because they usually ship out pre-order stuff with the game until they run out (I was so happy when I got the Etrian Odyssey III art book because of this).

Also one of my best friends got MvC3 so I played a bunch of matches with him tonight (but he didn't have a mic so I couldn't talk ). Also, I finally learned how to do the Air Combos with multiple people (like I'd read how to do it but I just now figured out you have to land at least one hit in the air with your character before you can summon the next character to continue the Air Combo). Also I tried one Ranked match and got a stupid Sentinel spammer dude used the H beam and the robot summon and I couldn't go anywhere near him, I almost managed to kill Sentinel after I did a 3 person team special but he kicked my ass and I didn't know what to do (I hate Sentinel :bomb:). Also, right now I'm thinking my team is going to be She-Hulk, X-23, and Dormammu/Akuma. I went through figured out what Dormammu's specials do, and Akuma isn't hard to pick up because obviously he plays like most of the other Shoto characters and I played as him when I played SF3 on the PS2.
