If you can get $440 for the lot at Software, Etc., I'd forget about Ebay and take everything there immediately. Ebay is known for suckers that pay too much for many an auction, but if you've got a guaranteed $440 at Software, Etc., Ebay isn't even worth the trouble anymore.

I've found through personal experience that the wavy printing EB uses for the code numbers on back of their gift cards can cause problems. Their 8s and Bs look a lot alike, for example, and if you make one mistake typing these digits into the online site, you'll get an "invalid" message. I'd...

I too used to frequent Ebay several times a month, but it only took one bad experience with a seller not giving me what I paid for (and Ebay not lifting a finger to help me) to turn me off to dealing with them completely. Ebay can rot in hell for all I care. :D

My local Blockbuster stores aren't getting this in for rental, so I really wanted to pick it up during the buy 2 get 1 sale. Unfortunately, none of my local TRU stores have it in stock either. :cry:

Used Sega VMUs used to sell for $1.99 at EB. Were you buying them new?

Dreamcast never enjoyed the big store displays that PSone and PS2 did when it was out, and since DC was discontinued, even used games have become hard to come by locally. Most of my local stores (EB, Gamestop, etc.) don't carry DC games at all now. You almost have to go online to buy them...

I bought a Super Nintendo mini used from a local mom and pop shop for $15 about three years ago, but I found another one (system only) for $5 at a thrift store. If you want to go cheap, your best bet is to try thrift stores, pawn shops and yard sales. Eventually, you'll get lucky.
