My cduniverse order arrived today. The plastic case had a cut into it if you're the type who cares (I am, but not going to send it back or anything :) )
Yeah, pretty much never buy non-US GBA games. Unfortunately I MUST assume bootleg when I see brand new games like Madagascar out immediately for $10 buy it now. (I see this regularly, really an annoying shame)
Yeah revolution can't be near $400 (much less). I think it will be $200-$250 (we're all speculating here eh? :p)
I don't think the gaming industry is greedy either. just trying to make a profit, fortunately/unfortunately all public companies are under the microscope for growth and profit
Ok! I have given up on an Afterburner kit for my old style GBA, but I've read a bit about the Halo lights. Anyone know which version is best and where I can get it for cheap? Would I be able to snag one on clearance somewhere?
Thanks.
You really can't say the inflation thing is a load of crap. Check the inflation calculator on the us gov site below:

$200 in 1985 is the same buying power as $363.20 in 2005!
Though better and cheaper hardware manufacturing must completely offsets this...

Shin Megami Tensei Digital Devil Saga is barely uncommon. You can buy it at almost any retailer online. Shin Megami Tensai Nocturne however is harder to find. TRU has been one of the few retailers to find it new and for a great price ($25). Actually, if you look at ebay completed auctions...
Thanks OP and other posters. This was pretty cool, and I managed to dig through some unopened games of mine from TRU and bought a 3 best buy (with coupon) games for the trade in. Here is what I used:
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance for Gamecube - $4 TRU
Max Payne 2 PS2 - $5 BB
Hunter something PS2...
I've never had a game on the list not ring up as green tag. There will be a 'carrot' next to the item that is green tagged (on the register monitor) so ask them to look for them while they are ringing you up. Just ask them to take off any games that are not green tagged. But like I said...
Trying to justify to me that a TRU should price match an item that should be destroyed and (partially) sent back to the publisher for credit seems insane.
Trying to actually do it is fine with me though :)
I defintely care, can't really explain well, and should not have to explain why....but it is related to the newness feeling. Ask a psychologist...apparently I am not alone so I'm sure there is more info about the reasoning.
I would not get crazy pissed about a game not having a seal though...
