360 ELITE what should I do?

Start finding new places to do research. =;) You won't be able to play DVDs in 1080p over component. Games will play just fine in 1080p everytime, but only if your display supports it. Many TVs don't. This is more than likely your TV, not the console. To upscale DVDs to 1080p, you'll need to...

What do I do about the mess of wires behind my TV?

Unless you have a LCD hanging from the wall and cords hanging down, I don't see much of a problem. Do you regularly go back there and look? Three systems is nothing: http://videogamecollectors.com/gallery/Gaming-Nirvana/after

    S-Video with Video Switch Questions

Yes, s-video only carries video so you'll still need the composite audio. Hooking up the yellow composite won't do anything. The s-video signal will NOT be output through the composite cable. The benefit would be if you have something you want to hook up composite at a later date, you can do...

Getting an SNES to work on an LCD

With and without the switchbox? After that, it's the cable. The 64 and SNES use the same cables. Try swapping them. If that doesn't do it, there's something completely off the wall going wrong between the time the signal leaves the SNES and TV.

Getting an SNES to work on an LCD

Some TVs won't let you switch modes and will automatically run whatever signal it's getting. What else have you tried in that port? Any issues with other things?

Good TV for XBox360 and PS3

I'll second Westinghouse. we have the 42' and 37' here in the house and couldn't be happier. Feature set is amazing, with countless ports including DVI, VGA, Component, etc. Full 1080p support too. Got min (the 37') for $800 on sale online.

    Mint Atari

He lied. Unless it's sealed in the box, it would have trouble breaking the $50 mark. It could be a 2600 Jr., and in that case it may have drawn a bit more, but $200? Not a chance.

    NES duck hunt

No. Found this out the hard way. Master System 3-D glasses also fail. Not sure of the in-depth technical reasons, but it has something to do with the refresh rate.

    Anyone here use Gamefly?

Had it for a month. First game was the wrong one, replacement took a week, that was unplayable, and the next one finally worked. Two weeks to get one game. No thanks. Switched to intothegame.com and been happy ever since. Also use Gameznflix for their HD-DVDs and their service has been solid...

Best resource or guidebook for rarity and pricing?

That's hardly an indicator. eBay is one of the worst to determine value. Their prices are all over the place. A copy of say, Mega Man X3 for the SNES, can fluctuate wildly between copies. It's fairly common too, so if you put in the time, you could find it far below eBay prices.

Nothing from my store either. If this was true, it would surely be all over the net by now given the implications.

EB Games / Gamestop begins carding for Mature Rated Games

You need a drivers license to trade in and get cash, and in some states, store credit as well. It's law for any trade-in type buisness to prevent selling stolen merch. It's always been like this. They can't let kids trade in any games, not just M rated ones.

EB Games / Gamestop begins carding for Mature Rated Games

No, it's not. Every state that has tried to pass the law has been shot down in court due to constitutional issues.

    Anyone own a Neo-Geo System

I have an AES, modded to do s-video. I paid $329 or so on eBay about four years ago, then another $60 for the mod. Worth every penny for Samurai Shodown II alone.
