This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

I have a couple too. Be glad no one asked u for one. Cost over 8 bucks total to ship.. I'm hoping they drop some more and get them at the $9 mark.

funny how one day the computer says 30 copies of EoJ in the southbay area 25 mile radius then the next day none are around.

I'd been waiting for them to go on clearance at my local store. too many people in this damn bay I say.

Warhawk's havent gone on clearance at the cupertino target. While I was there tonight I picked up a L.O. and checked out Frontlines Fuels of War which is still 41.XX. L.O. was a steal at 14.XX.

If anyone has an extra Eye of Judgement pm me I would really like to play the game and get my hands on a first gen starter deck.

Spring Valley, NY had a couple of EoJ for $35.xx, PS3 MLB2k8 for $19.xx and PS3 Unreal Tournament for $19.xx as well.

The Palisades Mall Target had LO and Grid still sitting pretty at $29.xx. I saw that they also have 2-3 copies of GTA4 SE for the 360 but it was not tagged with any clearance so I have no clue how much it is ringing up.

Westchester Target's clearance sections have been very poor lately... But at least I picked up a copy of Iron Man on BR with that snazzy helmet case.

The OP had the date added as 9/16, is it normal for things to still not be on clearance after 2ish weeks? I'm kinda new here so I hope that question isn't too nabby.

In fact I only saw 1 clearance sticker today, on the spot where xbox360 20gb hard drives are, which was of course empty. I couldn't find any of the games people have been talking about in the past few pages, just a few things from the original list in the OP.

Damn. I just picked up Bourne Conspiracy and Condemned (both the last copy) from that Target on Tuesday. I wonder if they will PM the extra 30% off? When did they start the extra % off and did they have signs up? This Target is not actually closing, they are moving to Cherry Ave/ Paramount Bl. on the other side of the 91.

They had about 50 copies of Scene It and 20 copies of FF12 (don't recall if it was $9.98 or $4.98).

That's a nation wide "sale" price at target that lasts until the end of oct or beginning of Nov...so its not a clearance item and it will not be going any lower than 119.

I don't really see how it was $4.85 unless you can shove it in a Priority Mail envelope. I calculated the postage to the farthest I would have to ship it and Priority Mail was 11.50. A flat rate box would be 9.80, Parcel Post was 8.12 and Media Mail was 2.93. Of course, it really isn't MM because of the controllers though.

No way the box would fit in any envelope, they have at the post office. Unless the box is opened and the game and controllers are taken out. Zodiac can attest to the cost when he gets the game. In hindsight if you could ship the game broken up it shouldn't cost as much as it did for me.

Monday and Friday will be the answers you get on here. Clerks have even told me that the prices were changed on a Saturday. There are 4-6 Targets I try to hit on Monday, though there are a couple that I believe update on Friday. So all in all, the least I would check would be on Mon. and Fri.

According to the USPS website, the online shipping label price for a 3 pound package shipped priority mail in the same priority mail zone is 4.86. Usually, if you are only shipping something 100-150 miles or less via priority, the price is only a tiny bit more than parcel, at least on relatively light packages.

I got the last copy of GRID in my area for $30. Most were sold at $42. If you are a fan of racing games, then this is absolutely a must buy at this price.

Went to the Evansville, IN (First Ave branch) and picked up Alone In The Dark (PC) for $7.48 (201 02 3331) and... erm... Transformers PC (not for me of course *cough*) for $4.98 (201 02 1069)

They also had a bunch of other PC games down to 75% off, mainly the pet vet/ horse type of games and a couple of the jewelcase games.

I also noticed that they had a couple of that card game on the PS3 (the eye one?) for $17xx (it was 34xx when I was in on Tuesday) The Olympics game for $12xx, UT3 for $9xx - so I guess this branch drops prices on Friday, which is annoying since I have been going to check on Tuesdays for the past year or so..... ah well.

I got lucky this week and found 1 copy at a store I normally don't go to. If I find any, I'll pick them up and ship for cost+shipping or for a trade. If I remember correctly this updates automatically. Once you've been here long enough it will put you at Veteran and eventually you'll be able to customize it like mine with "Airborne".

Got The Club(360) for $12.48 to keep(yeah, every once in awhile I don't flip them). Still seeing EOJ at most Targets for $34.98 still...I've even got my mom checking in Indiana and they are $34 still at hers too. It's still profitable at $34, but I'm holding out for more at $17. I've bought 2 used EOJs at GS that had extra cards, and both times I got a phantom card in the extras. For those of you that don't know, the phantom cards are very very very rare and worth 30-50 bucks each on ebay.

Still looking for a Lost Oddysee at $15 or so...or maybe a Metroid at $12...not seeing any of these and I hit 3 different Targets today
