I've been waiting for this to drop! In for one.

    Spyborgs $19.99 Gamestop

I second that sentiment. :) Capcom didn't do a thing to advertise or promote the game, so I didn't even know it was available. I'll be ordering this on payday.

GameStop Buy 2, Get 1 Free Used Games (10/24-10/26) + $500 in Gift Cards Giveaway!

Picked up Raw Danger for myself, along with Jak & Daxter and Sega Genesis Collection for my brother. He just picked up a PS2 last week, so I'll be building him a nice care package for Christmas. This was a good start, though ;)

Ever had a franchise ruined for you?

Final Fantasy, definitely. It seems like the series took a turn for "lowest common denominator" territory after VI, with side trips to Hot Topic along the way.

Looking for the full Rurioni Kenshin series

Media Blasters put out a series of economy boxes over the course of the past year or so. They retail for about $80US, but DDD has them for less: Season 1: $42.99 - http://www.deepdiscount.com/viewproduct.htm?productId=5751898 Season 2: $59.85 -...

    interesting or semi-obscure games

A few picks from my collection: Crimson Tears is a fun title with a definite "Streets of Rage meets RPG" feel to it. Echo Night Beyond is a decent, slower-paced horror title. The character visuals haven't aged well, but the atmosphere and setting are still intriguing and creepy. Jade Coccoon...

The new may update killed my 360

The Target solution won't work, since the chain recently reduced the maximum value of a receipt-less exchange. They dropped it to 40 bucks, mainly because people were people were doing just as you suggested. It sucks, but can't be helped. Managers can't sidestep it anymore, as it's company...

Metroid Prime 3 delayed to 2008? Reggie says July 07 at the earliest.

Technically, Nintendo didn't have any opportunities at GDC. They're currently in the midst of acquiring a number of shares of stock from the Japanese government. Because of this, they're under a bit of a gag order on any forward-moving products. Said order expires in about two weeks, when the...

Additional Virtual Console games discovered through the ESRB.

A lot of us also gobble up overhead shooters, and they're, for the most part, also repetitive and hard ;) You may have found it boring, but I personally treasure my original cart [and I'm sure that plenty of others do, as well]. It was a fantastic game that left a lasting impression on more...

Games you really want for Wii VC but almost definitely won't be there

Faxanadu and Magic of Scheherazade sit at the top of my list. Both fun, though badly translated games (but in the NES days, what wasn't? ;)). However, the companies that put these two out in the US have been defunct for ages (Broderbund for Faxanadu, Culture Brain for Scheherazade)

Other than Zelda, what is the next must have launch title?

The top games on my list [outside of Zelda :P] are Rayman and Elebits... considering that the rumors about Metal Slug's delay are indeed true.

    Worthless Games

I'm probably going to be flamed to hell for this, but: Siren (of course, YMMV. Some people adored it.) Unlimited SaGa The X-Files (PSX) [got it as a gift... I still call it the best cure for insomnia yet! :)]

UPDATED (I like Anime again!) - Anime, evolving backwards for total confusion.

Ahh, my mistake. :) Anyway, the reason why Matsumoto, or a few writers haven't licensed it themselves is simple, though: They have no interest in markets outside of Japan. If anything, you'll see a wealthy licensor snag it eventually. That, or Animeigo, who has a history of releasing great...

UPDATED (I like Anime again!) - Anime, evolving backwards for total confusion.

I'm assuming that you're asking about Galaxy Express, which has never been licensed for US release. The only way to obtain a subtitled release is through bootlegs, or fansub downloads [or, if you want to go retro, tape traders are still around] at the moment. It's a shame, really. The series is...
