I know that games from the NES and SNES can have their batteries replaced if they start having rouble, but I don't know that it's neccesary. I have some games that are 10-15 years old that can still save. I imagine that in that time batteries have improved and it won't be an issue with GBA...

This happened to me at EB when the GBA first launched. It really pissed me off because outside of Castlevania I had no interest in any games. I ended up getting Mario 2 even though I already had it for the NES. It's an unfair practice.

If Microsoft did that, and kept the price down, it'd be a huge blow to Sony and Nintendo. A game like that and a year advantage on releasing the xbox 2 puts them in a situation to be the leader next generation.

A couple months ago Bestbuy had it for $58 after tax, and they threw in NFL 2k5. It might be worth waiting a little while to see if they do something similar again.
